CRC Meeting at the Festival de Cannes 2010
The European network CRC organize its 18th coproduction meeting during the Cannes Film Festival, on Tuesday 18th May, 2010, in Palais Stéphanie.
This coproduction meeting will gather more than 150 producers and distributors from the four capital regions. Among them:
For France: Gaumont - UGC - Chic Films - Le Pacte - Les Films d'Ici - Les Films du Veyrier - Les Films Pelleas
For Spain: Alta Produccion - Latido Films - Urban Films
For Germany: Ma.ja.de - Razor Film Produktion - Rohfilm
For Italy: Ager 3 - Alphapictures - RAI Cinema
The guest country for this Cannes coproduction meeting is Egypt, with attendance of the President of Egyptian Film Center, Mr Khaled Abdel Galeel and the President of Egyptian Chamber of Film Industry, Mr Mounib El Shafii, and a delegation of the most important Egyptian producers, as Al Arabia Cinema - ART/Arab Media Distribution - El Nasr Film Production Company - Good News Group - Les Films du Palmier - Team Cairo.
This meeting will create an opportunity for producers and distributors attending to meet the people in charge of audiovisual policies of the four capital regions and to present projects - at any step of development - for which they are looking for financial partners.
Films developed or coproduced following CRC meetings:
- "Et si on vivait tous ensemble" by Stéphane Robelin, Les Films de la Butte / Manny Films (France) with Rommel Films (Germany). The shooting will bei in Paris in summer 2010, with Jane Fonda, Geraldine Chaplin, Pierre Richard, Claude Rich, Guy Bedos, with financial support of Region Ile-de-France and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

- "The Last Script-Remembering Luis Bunuel" by Gaizka Urresti (Germany-France-Spain)

- "Apartment in Athens" by Ruggero Dipaola, coproduction Italy-Greece-Germany (L'Occhio e la Luna (Italy), Bad Movies (Greece) and Pandora Film (Germany).
- "Le quattro volte" by Michelangelo Frammartino, Italia (Vivo Film/Invisible Film), Germany (Essential Filmproduktion) and Switzerland (Ventura Film).
