Capital Regions for Cinema (CRC)

CRC (Capital Regions for Cinema) is a network of European film production centres. The goal of the network is to pool the vast creative potential of Europe's capitals and develop the conditions for cooperation and coproductions. Agreements to this effect have already been signed by film and media institutions in four European capital regions: Commission du Film d'Ile de France, Rome-Lazio Film Commission, Madrid Film Commission and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH. The alliance hopes to capitalize on the special attraction that European capitals have for European and international artists. Culture, creativity and economic muscle come together. A mix that defines Europe.
CRC @ Festival de Cannes 2010: 18th Coproduction Meeting

The European network CRC organized its 18th coproduction meeting during the Cannes Film Festival, on Tuesday 18th May, 2010, in Palais Stéphanie.
This coproduction meeting gathered more than 150 producers and distributors from the four capital regions. Among them:

For Spain: Alta Produccion - Latido Films - Urban Films
For Germany: Ma.ja.de - Razor Film Produktion - Rohfilm

The guest country for this Cannes coproduction meeting was Egypt.

The shooting will bei in Paris in summer 2010, with Jane Fonda, Geraldine Chaplin, Pierre Richard, Claude Rich, Guy Bedos, with financial support of Region Ile-de-France and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
