MEDIA Antenne Berlin-Brandenburg

MEDIA Antenna Berlin-Brandenburg is the regional information office of the MEDIA Programme for Berlin-Brandenburg and Central Germany. Each country has a central office or 'Desk', usually based in the capital city, and often supported by one or more regional offices in key cities known as 'Antennae'. These offices are hosted by a national film agency or another relevant industry organisation.

The regional information office
The MEDIA Antenna Berlin-Brandenburg is the regional information office of the MEDIA Programme for Berlin-Brandenburg and Central Germany. It was established by the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and is located in the Babelsberg film studios. Since 2000 the Antenna is working closely together with the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (Central German Media Fund) in Leipzig.

Promoting the MEDIA Programme
The Team of the Antenna helps to promote and administer the MEDIA Programme in Berlin Brandenburg by answering enquiries and explaining the various funding strands and eligibility criteria. They also encourage participation in training courses, festivals and markets and help regional professionals with application forms. The national office, MEDIA Desk, is located in Hamburg. Other antennae exist in Düsseldorf and Munich.
