The Canada Germany Digital Media Incentive supports co-productions and co-developments in the digital content sector between Canadian and German producers from Berlin-Brandenburg.

Projects intended for funding must be developed for distribution on digital platforms and can come from the fields of games, serial formats, multi-platform projects, or VR/AR experiences. They must meet the funding criteria of both institutions equally.

Submitted projects will be evaluated based on various criteria, including innovative and creative elements, alignment with target audiences and users, team creativity, as well as the feasibility of project financing and scheduling.

The funding pool totals 375,000 euros, with each partner contributing half of the amount. Funding is provided as a repayable loan.
