World-wide launch of Matthias Schweighöfer`s "You are Wanted"
On 17 March, the first-ever German Amazon Originals series is launching: “You Are Wanted”! The thriller series sponsored by Medienboard will be shown in over 200 countries. The protagonist, besides the city of Berlin, will be played by director Matthias Schweighöfer himself, accompanied by Alexandra Maria Lara, Karoline Herfurth and Toni Garrn. New Trailer

Couples’ therapy reloaded. The third season of the Medienboard-funded short film series "Paare” will once again see famous couples on the couch in Berlin – this time around: Christian Ulmen & Fritzi Haberlandt. Coming up: shoots with Katja Riemann, Sibel Kekilli, Samuel Finzi and more. On Arte starting May!

Deutscher Filmpreis 2017 Preselection
23 Medienboard-funded Films in the LOLA Race
On 16 March, the Deutsche Filmakademie is presenting the nominees for the LOLA awards 2017! The preselection committees for feature, documentary and childrens’ film have voted 40 films out of all submissions onto the short list, among them  23 Medienboard-funded productions!

Virtual Reality
VR creators from the capital region at Cebit + Laval Virtual
At Cebit in Hanover (20 to 24 March), the world’s largest fair for information technology, startups and creatives from Berlin-Brandenburg’s VR scene will be presenting themselves at VR Base Berlin’s stand. The world’s oldest Virtual Reality conference, Laval Virtual (22 to 26 March) in France, will also see new VR projects from the capital region.

In April, the German and international games industry will once again get together in the capital region for International Games Week Berlin. Under its umbrella, numerous Medienboard-funded events on the topic of games are scheduled to take place. On 26 April, the German computer game prize (DCP) will be awarded in Berlin. More
