  • Innovative Audiovisual Content

    As an important component of a cutting-edge audiovisual culture, the Medienboard supports the development and production of innovative audiovisual content with an annual budget of € 1 million. The programme aims to motivate creative companies in the digital sector as well as traditional content producers to invest in innovative and interactive productions such as games, transmedia and virtual reality.   • Serial Formats

    Funding category, operational since 2015, supports the development and production of serial programming in all genres, regardless of whether the content is intended for linear or non-linear viewing. funding is provided to independent producers, and includes entertainment and fact-based formats. Applicants must participate in an interview with the appropriate funding advisor before submitting their applications. More information you can find here!

  • Canada-Germany Digital Media Incentive

    Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced an agreement during gamescom 2017 to establish an incentive for the codevelopment and coproduction of digital media projects between Canadian producers and German producers based in Berlin-Brandenburg. The announcement of the Canada-Germany Digital Media Incentive was made at the Berlin-Brandenburg reception during Gamescom in Cologne, where Canada is the official partner country.

    To qualify, projects must involve producers eligible under both organisations’ criteria. Projects will have to be created for digital platforms and can be either a game, a web series, multiplatform content, augmented reality or virtual reality experiences. Find all information here!

  • DIGI.TALe

    Mit dem Pilotprogramm DIGI.TALe fördert das Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg gemeinsam mit der Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF und der dffb studentische narrative Inhalte mit innovativem und experimentellem Charakter. Genre, Format, Länge oder Distributionskanäle sind dabei nicht vorgegeben.
