2 Oscar nominations for Medienboard-funded films

Berlin / Potsdam / Los Angeles - And the Oscar hope goes to...! 2 Medienboard-funded films by 2 female directors are nominated for an Oscar in the category Best International Feature Film: “The Man Who Sold His Skin” by Kaouther Ben Hania and “Quo Vadis, Aida?” by Jasmila Žbanić.
Stated Kirsten Niehuus, Medienboard managing director: “We’re rooting for these 2 great female directors and their extraordinary and moving films at the Oscars and hope to see them in cinemas soon!”
The 93rd Academy Awards will take place on 25 April 2021.
