9 awards in Venice for Medienboard-funded films

"The Man Who Sold His Skin" / "Und morgen die ganze Welt"

Berlin / Potsdam / Venice - In Venice, the first major film festival since the Berlinale and the lockdown has come to a successful end. 4 Medienboard-sponsored films won a total of 9 awards: Yahya Mahayni from THE MAN WHO SOLD HIS SKIN by Kaouther Ben Hania received the actors’ award from the festival series Orizzonti. Mala Emde, starring in Julia von Heinz’ competition entry UND MORGEN DIE GANZE WELT (“And Tomorrow the Entire World”), received the independent film critics’ award Bisato d’Oro.
