MBB funds new films and high-end series with 5,1 million Euros
PRESS RELEASE
Berlin / Potsdam - With 5.1 million euros in funding for 32 film and series projects, MBB is ringing in the high season of filming in the capital region - in its 2nd funding session of the year. New productions are being created und directed by Nora Fingscheidt, Carolina Hellsgård, Dani Levy, Annekatrin Hendel, Volker Heise and David Dietl - with top-class casts including stars such as Saoirse Ronan, Isabelle Huppert, Eric Bana, Jürgen Vogel, Laura Tonke and August Diehl. Distribution funding for a successful theatrical release is given to Andreas Dresen's Berlinale winner "Rabiye Kurnaz against George W. Bush", Nicolette Krebitz' "A E I O U - Das Schnell Alphabet der Liebe", Leander Haußmann's "Stasikomödie" and Aron Lehmann's "Hunting Season".
