Kirsten Niehuus, CEO Film Funding, Medienboard: “3 of the 4 German-language films in the competition are MBB-funded – and 11 other films are running in the official programme: We are keeping our fingers crossed for both the film-makers and the Berlinale management that the festival will be a huge in-person success. Because only cinema can do what cinema can do!”
