5 MBB-Funded Films & Series Celebrate World Premieres in Venice!

Berlin / Potsdam / Venice – Bella Venezia!At the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, five films and series supported by MBB will celebrate their world premieres. Competing for the Golden Lion in the Official Competition is László Nemes' drama ORPHAN. In the Spotlight section, Moroccan director Maryam Touzani presents her new film CALLE MALAGA. The series ETTY by Hagai Levi, starring Sebastian Koch and Julia Windischbauer, will screen out of competition.
The short film A SOIL A CULTURE A RIVER A PEOPLE by Chinese filmmaker Viv Li will be shown in the Orizzonti Short Film Competition, while HOLOFICTION by Polish experimental artist Michal Kosakowski will have its premiere in the Documentary on Cinema section.
