German Computer Games Awards: 5 Prestigious Awards Go to Games from the Capital Region, including Lose CTRL
Congratulations to all five award-winning games from Berlin-Brandenburg, including one award for the game “Lose CTRL”, funded by MBB.
The MBB-funded game LOSE CTRL (Play From Your Heart) won the German Computer Games Award in the category Best Game Design. For the second nomination in the category Young Talent Award Best Debut, LOSE CTRL additionally received prize money – congratulations on this great achievement!
The nomination for the Berlin game BLOODLETTER (Berlin University of Applied Sciences) in the category Young Talent Award Best Prototype also had prize money at stake. AD INFINITUM (Hekate/NACON) was nominated in three categories and won all three awards: Best Story, Best Audio Design and Young Talent Award Best Debut. FRIEDRICH EBERT – DER WEG ZUR DEMOKRATIE [Friedrich Ebert - The Road to Democracy] (Playing History/President Friedrich Ebert Memorial Foundation) won the award in the category Best Serious Game. A total of five awards (out of 10 nominations) for games from Berlin-Brandenburg at the German Computer Games Awards 2024!
