In Liebe, Eure LOLA: 7 LOLAs for 6 MBB-Funded Films at the 75th German Film Awards Anniversary

Berlin / Potsdam - 7 LOLAs have been awarded to 6 MBB-funded films at the 75th anniversary of the German Film Awards: IN LIEBE, EURE HILDE, PETRA KELLY – ACT NOW!, AKIKO, DER FLIEGENDE AFFE, ISLANDS, HAGEN – IM TAL DER NIBELUNGEN, and DIE SCHULE DER MAGISCHEN TIERE 3.

Kirsten Niehuus, CEO of Medienboard:
“Happy 75th birthday to the German Film Awards and congratulations to the outstanding winners! We celebrate the 6 MBB-funded films and especially Andreas Dresen and his team for the Bronze LOLA awarded to IN LIEBE, EURE HILDE. This film about resistance fighter Hilde Coppi is a powerful act of remembrance—just as Holocaust survivor Margot Friedländer dedicated her life to preserving memory. We bow in deep respect to this inspiring woman and tireless advocate for humanity and democracy. It is our responsibility to ensure her message, which she shared with us once again at the 2024 German Film Awards, lives on: ‘Be human!’”
