MBB New Media Funding: Around one million euros for new games, XR and serial formats

Berlin / Potsdam – The new media funding of the MBB supports eleven projects in its first funding session of the year to a total of 959,000 euros.

New content for console, glasses and screen: Berlin-Brandenburg’s studios and production companies will continue to work on extraordinary and diverse projects in 2023. In the area of games it will be imaginative, creative and profound at the same time. Two junior teams of the HTW Berlin are supported here. With the VR experience support, users can immerse themselves in the everyday life of an indigenous community in Peru, the new project by the award-winning makers of NowHere Media, or literally in a mystical and mysterious underwater world. With a look at a past war and a current one, the series segment also gets political.
