Berlin / Potsdam - In the first funding session of the year, MBB committed to support 11 projects with its New Media Funding, with a total of 1.7 million euros, within the gaming industry and XR games, as well as series. The highest amount, 500,000 euros, is awarded to the Berlin Studio Thoughtfish for its XR game “Good & Evil”. Paintbucket Games’ rogue-like-sim “Silicon Sunk” will receive 240,000 euros. Young start-up projects will also not be left empty-handed, for example “Tiny Train Adventures” by TOUTOU Interactive (HTW Berlin). In terms of series, funding has been awarded to the docs “The Last Days of Kabul” (LOOKS Filmproduktion) and "Tausend Erste Dates" (Flute Film), a series inspired by the podcast of the same name.
