Successful premiere for Berlin's international series festival SERIESLY BERLIN!
For two days, more than 300 international industry guests discussed under the motto "Let’s Talk Seriesly!" at the panels, talks, workshops, and masterclasses of the SERIESLY BERLIN Conference held at Fotografiska in Berlin-Mitte. At the public screenings in the Hackesche Höfe cinemas, 6 international series celebrated their premieres.

After an initial feedback session concluding the conference block, the SERIESLY BERLIN team now invites creatives and the series industry to continue discussions on the development of the festival.

Helge Jürgens, Managing Director of MBB:

"A successful premiere of SERIESLY BERLIN! With the support of the festival, we aim to establish a new, attractive event for creative exchange in the national and international series industry. From panels on genre as a Trojan horse to intersections with gaming and social media, to the role of female characters, to programming perspectives from Prime Video or personality rights: the program provided a good overview, and it was clear that everyone shares a passion for serial storytelling. Thanks to the SERIESLY team for their dedication – we are looking forward to the next edition!"

SERIESLY BERLIN is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and has won the award for "Innovative Event Formats" in the competition organized by Project Zukunft of the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises.
