Berlin / Potsdam – With €515,000 in distribution funding, MBB is supporting the theatrical release of 15 new films. Of the funded projects, 10 are directed by women and 5 by men.

Making their way from Cannes to cinemas are Gentle Monster (Marie Kreutzer) and The Station (Sara Ishaq). Wim Wenders’ From Inside Out – Die Architektur von Peter Zumthor celebrated its world premiere in Venice.

Also coming soon to cinemas with MBB support are the Berlinale opening film No Good Men (Shahrbanoo Sadat) and Ulrike Ottinger’s Berlinale Special Gala selection Die Blutgräfin.
