An application meeting with one of our funding executives is an absolute prerequisite for submitting an application. These talks should take place 2 weeks before the deadline. You will receive access to the application portal after the meeting. Applications for development funding as well as production funding are generally processed by all of our funding officers. Applicants must have a permanent company seat in Berlin-Brandenburg or Germany.

Applications for funding for innovative audiovisual content and games can only be submitted to the MBB by developers and independent producers. Applications for funding for serial formats can be submitted by independent producers.
