The artist-in-residence programmes offer selected filmmakers the opportunity to gather international experience and make industry contacts. The fellowship covers travel costs, accommodation and includes a monthly allowance.

Exchange program for filmmakers from Berlin-Brandenburg and France, initiated by MBB and the Institut Français Deutschland and Ville de Paris.

Deadline: 4th February 2025

Filmmakers from France should contact our partner institution, the Ville de Paris, Direction des Affaires Culturelles. The stay in Berlin is organised by the Nipkow Program.

Exchange program for filmmakers from Berlin-Brandenburg and Greece, initiated by MBB, Goethe-Institut and the Thessaloniki Film Festival.

Filmmakers from Greece should contact our partner institutions, the Thessaloniki Film Festival and the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki. The stay in Berlin is organised by the Nipkow Program.
